I am so happy to have read this book since it has re-acquainted me with one of my favourite writers, Michel De Montaigne. The book gives some historical context to his essays, which only makes me love him even more. A writer of world importance. One day before I die I want to visit his library at Saint-Michel-de-Montaigne.
And the Mississippi John Hurt museum. He died thirty weeks before I was born. I have loved this blues singer most of my life.
